Your history does not have to dictate your destiny. You can create a life you love to live. I offer convenient options for therapy including in office visits, phone and video sessions, as well as walk and talk sessions in the community.
My approach to therapy is holistic, client centered, strengths based and draws upon CBT, mindfulness based paractices, Interpersonal Process and Person Centered Therapy. I provide traditional short and long term therapies, as well as, holistic therapies. Some examples of these include expressive art therapy, yoga therapy, music therapy, drumming, and Tibetan singing bowls.

My areas of expertise include couples therapy. treatment of trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, stress reduction, working with other therapists, and working with first generation Americans and immigrant populations. I have a strong understanding of cultural diversity, privlidge and opression, the migration process, and working with marginalized populations.
Moreover, my expertise includes conducting and writing psychological evaluations for U visas, VAWA petitions, cancelation of removal, extreme hardship, and political asylum cases. I trained at Columbia University and have taken a ariety of continuing education courses on conducting immigration evaluations. I have been a member of Physicians for Human Rights since 2017.
